 Bewonderment is found at the edge of things. Our retreats invite you to explore the edges of your consciousness and reacquaint yourself with Bewonderment while building a toolkit of resources you can take home.

SHAKE IT UP.

When we step away from our routines, we often see ourselves and the world through new eyes. We structure our programs to allow you to unwind and uncover parts of yourself that have perhaps laid dormant.

 

BASK IN WONDER.

The world around us has great wisdom to share when we allow ourselves to unfold into it. We choose awe-inspiring locations that allow for long moments of stillness, invite childlike curiosity, and stretch our minds and bodies.

 
 

SUSTAIN IT.

Integrating what we learn from the retreat experience into our day to day existence is a crucial part of our process. Therefore, we won’t just focus on creating a wondrous retreat, but building a storehouse of resources to take home.

HOW IT WORKS

 Each retreat follows a similar arc.

Regardless if the retreat is a weekend or a whole week, they all follow three steps. We begin easing into our environment, then start to gain elevation in our journey through practices and exploration. When we reach the summit, we reflect on our climb and celebrate, while considering the ways to capture the momentum on our way home. 

 

1. BEGIN

 

We’ll ease into stillness with dedicated stillness and grounding practices to facilitate your ability to unwind into the environment. This might look like a silent meal, quiet exploration on your own, and meditation + yoga practices.


2. JOURNEY

 

Each day will start with paired mindfulness, creativity, and journaling practices designed to build throughout our time together. You’ll have plenty of time to explore and adventure during the day, with suggestions for ways to weave your morning’s practice through your excursions. We’ll reconnect each evening to unpack our experiences. 

 

A sample day: 90-minute mindfulness/creativity/journaling session followed by an optional surfing lesson, hike, or beach exploration. While you’re adventuring, you’ll have a mini-bewonderment practice to weave into your day. At day’s end, you’ll reconnect with the group for a short session, and then enjoy a meal together.


3. THE SUMMIT

 

You’ve spent dedicated time reconnecting to yourself and reigniting Bewonderment. We believe it’s crucial to honor our experience with ritual, and create a pathway to take this state of Bewonderment back to our daily life.  A ritual bonfire, witnessing each other’s growth, unbridled celebration and belly laughs are on the agenda!
